Body Cleanse with Kefir and Flaxmeal

Ever heard of the simple two ingredients cleanse? Touted to remove accumulated waste in our guts by following a simple 21 dqys detox programme. No idea who proposed or crafted this simple programme but it has been circulating in the net for many months' now.

There are many colon cleanse programme that has been proposed by different natural health practitioners. This two ingredients cleanse seems easy enough to follow. Basically, the following is proposed:


For 21 days, every morning you mix flaxseed flour (or grind into powder flaxseeds-either golden or brown) and kefir and eat it for breakfast with the following ratios:



Week 1: 1 tablespoon of flaxseed flour and 100 ml (about 7+ tablespoons) of kefir

Week 2: 2 tablespoons of flaxseed flour and 100 ml of kefir

Week 3: 3 tablespoons of flaxseed flour and 150 ml (about 10+ tablespoons) of kefir


Important notes:


• Store your flaxseed/flax flour in the fridge. Best to grind flaxseeds until it is fine and use each morning to prevent it from going rancid. However, if you purchase ground flaxseed meal, they should be fine as long as stored in the fridge.


• Mix whatever you need and consume straight away


• Drink LOTS of water, at least eight glasses a day. This is an absolute must else you might end up more constipated.

"I used to be qute constipated since young, only having a bowel movement about 3 times a week. After I gave birth, things improved and I had a bowel movement about 5-6 times.


On the first week following this kefir and flaxmeal detox programme. I felt very weak and wanted to sleep most of the time.


On the second week, I had pimples growing on many parts of my body.


As for my bowel movement, I had black stools and very smelly too! And I had a lot of stools passed out for many days.
